Mold Qualification
Cosmos applies the methodology of scientific molding for mold sampling which brings a wide range of advantages like a more reliable and stable mold building process, making repeating process on different molding machines possible, setting molding parameters based on scientific analysis on the machine feedback instead of personal judgement / experience of the mold setter.
Each of our mold engineers has gone through a full training on the application of all aspects of scientific molding, and all molds are sampled using the same technique.
Universal set-up sheets will be provided to our customers after every mold trial. Specific procedures, such as SPC and CPK analysis, can be followed upon customers’ requests.
